With the forced placement of “In God We Trust” back on the obverse, the text is now too small to read! What a painful retraction of historical value just because of some politically expedient bible-thumpers.
Ratings:Another U.S. dollar that looks like a token. Falling mintage numbers of this series is the only thing that will save it for collectors.
Ratings:They did a good job on the bust of President Harrison, however I don’t believe this will be a popular series overall. The American collector in general has been pretty well fed up with dead President’s on our circulating coinage for many years now. Unfortunately, the United States Mint answers to Washington and politician’s and not to the numismatic community which is in favor of more allegorical figures reptresenting such things as Liberty, Justice, Peace, Truth, and simial things. Overall, one of the better Presidential Dollar renditions, but really unwanted by the collecting public.
