2006 Nevada Quarter

The Nevada State Quarter was released in 2006 as the thirty sixth coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Don Everhart. The reverse design features a scene of three wild mustangs dashing across a field under a rising sun. Safebrush border the edges of the scene and snow capped mountains appear in the background.

  1. This coin looks cluttered on paper, but is quite pretty in person. The words “Silver State” won’t hold up to circulation wear.
