2002 Mississippi Quarter
The Mississippi State Quarter was released in 2002 as the twentieth coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Donna Weaver. The reverse design features the blossoms and leaves of the Magnolia, which is the state flower of Mississsippi.
