The Mary Todd Lincoln First Spouse Gold Coin will represent the final release of the series for the year 2010 and the seventeenth release since the series began in 2007. She served as First Lady during the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln. The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Mary Todd Lincoln as designed and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill. The reverse of the coin features a scene of her bringing flowers to wounded Civil War soldiers. This was designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill.
