2003 Maine Quarter

The Maine State Quarter was released in 2003 as the twenty third coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Daniel Carr and engraved by Donna Weaver. The reverse design features the Permaquid Point Light shining out to sea at New Harbor.
