The Louisa Adams First Spouse Gold Coin was the sixth release of the First Spouse Gold Coin Program. Louisa Adams served as the First Spouse for the 6th Presidency from 1825 to 1829. The obverse of the coin, which features a portrait of the First Lady, was designed by Susan Gamble and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill. The reverse of the coin features Louisa Adams making a journey across Europe with her son Charles. The reverse was designed by Donna Weaver and sculpted by Charles Vickers.

A Carmen Miranda look alike? While this series might have some future investment potential, I fail to see who would want to collect them. A poorly thought out series in a time when we should be moving away from politics.
