The Letitia Tyler First Spouse Gold Coin will be the tenth release of the First Spouse Gold Coin Program. She was the first wife of President John Tyler and served as First Lady from 1841 to 1842. The obverse of the coin features her portrait designed and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill. The reverse shows Letitia Tyler with two of her children at Cedar Grove Plantation, which she supervised. The reverse was designed by Susan Gamble and sculpted by Norman E. Nemeth.
