2001-D Kentucky Quarter
The Kentucky State Quarter was released in 2001 as the fifteenth coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by T. James Farrell. The reverse design features a Thoroughbred racehorse standing behind a fence with a farmhouse in the background.
