Julia Tyler $10 Gold

2009-W Julia Tyler
The Julia Tyler First Spouse Gold Coin will be the eleventh release of the First Spouse Gold Coin Program. She was the eleventh person to serve as First Spouse, but served under the tenth Presidency. She became the second wife of President John Tyler and served as First Lady for the last eight months of his Presidency. The obverse design featuring her portrait and the reverse features her dancing at a White House Ball. Both sides of the coin were designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Don Everhart.
Although she never made the journey to Washington, DC, she was the First Spouse for William Henry Harrion’s 30 days of Presidency in 1841. The obverse of the coin, which features a portrait of the First Lady, was designed by Donna Weaver and sculpted by Joseph Menna. The reverse of the coin features Mrs. Harrison teaching some of her students. The reverse was designed by Thomas Cleveland and sculpted by Charles Vickers.

I agree on the design, Julia Tyler comes across very well on the coin, making for a above average design.Investment potential is still there as this lackluster series continues to avoid collector demand.
Ratings:Hey, old John Tyler did alright. Unlike some of the others, this woman is easy on the eyes and the portrait is very well done. This series is going to be hot once the price of gold stabilizes.
