The John Adams Presidential Dollar was released in 2007 as the second coin of the Presidential Dollar Program. John Adams was the 2nd President of the United States, serving from 1797 to 1801. The obverse of the coin was designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Charles Vickers. The reverse design featuring the Statue of Liberty was designed and sculpted by Don Everhart.
