2007-P Jamestown Silver Dollar
The Jamestown Silver Dollar was released in 2007 as part of the Jamestown 400th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Program. The obverse of the coin depicts the three faces of diversity that worked together in the colony of Jamestown. It was designed by Donna Weaver and sculpted by Don Everhart. The reverse of the coin features the three ships, the Susan Constant, the Godspeed, and the Discovery, which carried settlers to Jamestown. The reverse was designed by Susan Gamble and sculpted by Charles Vickers.

A nice looking coin but doesn’t really look like a dollar, more like a medallion.
Ratings:Obverse resembles comic strip art, the reverse is fairly nice, but over crowded in my opinion. A wonderful example of how the U.S. Mint can blunder such a historic event with lack of effort and limited artistic ability. I don’t blame the artists for the most part, but rather the ability of the Mint to transfer art to metal properly.
