2003 Illinois Quarter
The Illinois State Quarter was released in 2003 as the twenty first coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Donna Weaver. The reverse design features an outline of Illinois, a young Abraham Lincoln with books in hand, a farm scene, and the Chicago skyline.
