2007 Idaho Quarter

The Idaho State Quarter was released in 2007 as the forty third coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Donna Weaver. The reverse design prominently features the Peregrine Falcon, which was once on the endangered species list. An outline of the Idaho also appears.

  3. This coin is mildly frightening. It appears that a gigantic bird is about to devour the tiny state of Idaho.

    If not for the mixed up proportionality, this might have been an interesting design choice.
