1999-D Georgia Quarter
The Georgia State Quarter was released in 1999 as the fourth coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by T. James Farrell. The reverse design features an outline of the state, Live Oak springs, and the peach, a symbol which has been long associated with Georgia.
