Who is drawing these presidential portraits? UGLY…
Ratings:Have to agree about the $1 also - looks cheap.
Also, can we letter the edge without scraping the shine off? The edge looks like a quarter after its been run through a slot machine 10,000 or so times. A great idea for the series, but poor execution.
What is the estimated current value of 1789 george Washington $1 coin.
Ratings:Regardless of any other sentiments about presidents and chucky cheese tokens. the Presidential dollars, as heralded by the debut coin of Ole George, will always be numismatically significant for the return of edge lettering, last seen in 1933.
The reverse is striking, but not as handsome and dignified as the Sacagawea dollar’s reverse. And would it kill them to write out “dollar”? I prefer “$1″ to “one dollar”, but “1 dollar” would have been even better.
