Colorado Quarter

2006 Colorado Quarter
The Colorado State Quarter was released in 2006 as the thirty eighth coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Norman Nemeth. The reverse design showcases the Rocky Mountains. The mountain range appears in a sweeping view with evergreens in the foreground.

The ridges and folds of the mountains catch and reflect light in a dazzling manner, making this coin a beauty to hold. However, I doubt that this design will wear well over time.
