Boy Scouts Silver Dollar
The 2010 Boy Scouts of America Centennial Silver Dollar will be released in 2010 for the commemorative coin program celebrating the 100th anniversary of the organization. The obverse of the coin features a Boy Scout, Cub Scout, and female Venturer with the motto “Continuing the Journey.” The reverse features the Boy Scouts universal logo. The obverse was designed by Donna Weaver and sculpted by Charles Vickers. The reverse was sculpted by Jim Licaretz.

I just can not see having a girl on a Boy Scout coin. Too much political correctness now used in coin designs.
Ratings:The major themes of Boy Scouting are outdoor adventure, dedication to duty and commitment to helping others. None of these is apparent from the disappointing generic designs. The rejected finalist design is far better, particularly the obverse.
