2003 Arkansas Quarter
The Arkansas State Quarter was released in 2003 as the twenty fifth coin of the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin was designed by William Cousins after John Flanagan. The reverse of the coin was designed by Dortha Scott and engraved by John Mercanti. The reverse design features a collection of images related to Arkansas. This includes a diamond, rice stalks, and a mallard.
