  1. Another boring design in the Spouse series. It is gold, which is it’s only saving grace.

  2. The depiction of Mrs. Harrison resembles a cast member of “Cats.” Really dreadful, as is her husband’s portrayal. The mint insists on sticking with the unfortunate circle-within-a-circle reverse design motif, which make it and the presidential dollar coins look like subway tokens.

  3. Another edition of the “Why did we produce” First Spouse series that has proven to be so unpopular with collector’s. Already some dealer’s have sent previous issues to the smelting pot. So what does the future hold for this unpopular series? Maybe a good investment potential, as low demand and destruction of some of these pieces could create a few scarcer pieces in the future.
