The 2009 Lincoln Cent will feature four different reverse designs to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth. The third design represents Lincoln’s professional life in Illinois. He stands before the Illinois State Capitol. The reverse was designed by Joel Iskowitz and sculpted by Don Everhart. The obverse is the original Lincoln Penny design from Victor D. Brenner.

this is a neat penny
Ratings:its not a great design but it is not bad either, personally I think it would look better on a larger conin. However it certainly looks better than most of the 2010 candidates.
Ratings:This is one design that I think we would have to see in hand to appreciate. It looks very interesting from the image.
Ratings:Here’s a design that’s not extremely inspired, but is a part of one of the most historic set of circulating commemoratives in recent years. I’m eagerly looking forward to obtaining examples of this set and in particular, the Bronze collector’s versions.
