this coin has *life* - Lincoln looks real, like he could look up from the book and give you his steady regard. Outstanding.
Ratings:I’m guessing he did a lot more reading than rail splitting. Pretty good design, but a little too busy for a small coin. The detail is good but too many elements.
Ratings:Nice clean design. Hopefully enough of these will make it into circulation.
Ratings:The second part of a very historic anniversary series which is very significant both historically and numismatically. While the true investment potential may be small for the circulation strikes, the Bronze versions may work out well, depending upon how the U.S. Mint handles them. Overall, this is a wonderful four coin set and a must have for every collector of U.S. coinage.
Ratings:This combines the log-splitting and studying parts of the Lincoln legend. Good moral story there.
There actually was a design of this with Lincoln just reading, which was a bit more impressive and direct.
