2007-W American Platinum Eagle

The American Platinum Eagle has featured annually changing reverse designs for collectible versions of the bullion coins. The three year series of designs entitled The Foundations of American Democracy entered its second year in 2007. The 2007-W Platinum Eagle reverse design features the Executive Branch. It was designed by Thomas Cleveland and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill. The obverse of the coin was designed and sculpted by John Mercanti.
